    THE JOB

     

    JOB SUMMARY
    Overall management of Spa Receptionists, Spa Coordinators, Spa Reservations, Spa Retail Associates, Guest operational supplies and amenities and Retail products. Assist the Spa Operations Manager, fulfilling the duties of the Spa Manager on Duty and overseeing all Spa operational and retail requirements while ensuring the highest luxury resort standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for training all new Spa Receptionists, Spa Coordinators, Spa Reservation colleagues and Retail Associates, ensuring that all job requirements and standards are met.
    • Maintains customer satisfaction and Spa operations at an optimal level in a four-star environment.
    • Assisting with Spa Receptionists, Spa Coordinators, Spa Reservation and Retail duties as necessary.
    • Support Spa operational and Retail processes and procedures.
    • Effectively resolve all guest and colleagues’ issues in a professional manner.
    • Assist the Spa Operations Manager in coaching, counseling and evaluating Spa Reception, Coordinator, Reservation and Retail colleagues.
    • Assist the Spa Operations Manager in the creation of Spa Sales & Marketing campaigns, promotions, group and special events.
    • Facilitate and issue weekly Spa Receptionist, Spa Coordinator, Spa Reservation and Retail Associate schedules.
    • Assist with Spa payroll and time-keeping.
    • Maintain; the ordering, inventory and distribution of all guest operating (lines, F&B, etc.) office supplies and amenities and Retail products.
    • Assist with monthly guest supply, amenity and linen, general and Retail inventory to initiate and control product inventory, cycle counts and par levels working in conjunction with other Spa leaders
    • Daily walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and optimal operational compliance in all Spa areas.
    • Ensure that all Spa equipment operate at optimum performance.
    • Assist Spa Operations Manager with departmental meeting facilitation.
    • Collaborate with other Spa and departmental leaders to ensure the overall and continued operational success of the Spa.
    • Adhere to and promote the corporate culture.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Must have outstanding communication, guest service and leadership skills.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and POS and all applicable Spa software.
    • Must have minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Spa Operations Supervisor, Spa budget and financial knowledge
    • Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Constant standing, sitting, bending, and walking throughout shift
    • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
    • kneeling, pushing and/or pulling
    • Occasional ascending and/or descending stairs, ramps or ladders
