    Responsibilities

     

    JOB SUMMARY
    Responsible for ensuring timely and efficient cleaning of guest hotel rooms. Inspects the work of Guest Room Attendants to maintain quality and consistency.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must be able to perform Guest Room Attendant and House Person Job Descriptions.
    • Inspects all vacant rooms to ensure that Guest Room Attendants are cleaning correctly and meeting housekeeping specifications.
    • Adhere to department service standards of being accommodating, clean/functioning, and trustworthy.
    • Assure cleaning standards are met through training and consistent prescribed procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • High School Degree or GED preferred.
    • 1+ year of hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
    • Ability to use standard house cleaning equipment.
    • Knowledge in the safe use of cleaning products.
    • Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
    • Ability to work and well with others while ensuring timeliness and consistency.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and twist intermittently.
    • May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
